Arilena Ara is an Albanian singer from Shkoder whose career has developed through televised competitions, festival stages, recorded pop, and live performance. Eurovision 2020 was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so she never performed in the contest's planned live competition. That distinction matters: Ara was Albania's selected representative, but there was no 2020 Eurovision result.

Ara has also taken part in television and live projects, including judging and coaching roles. In December 2025, she co-hosted Festivali i Kenges 64, reflecting her continuing connection to Albania's major music institution.
